Flervo ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our web application located at flervo.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: Name, email address, and profile picture provided via Google Sign-In.
YouTube Data: Channel name, channel ID, subscriber count, video titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and performance metrics accessed through YouTube API Services.
User Content: Video ideas, generated scripts, titles, and descriptions created within Flervo.

3. Google API "Limited Use" Disclosure

Flervo's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to theGoogle API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not use YouTube user data to train or improve generalized AI models.
We do not share or sell your YouTube data to third-party data brokers or advertising platforms.
Data access is strictly limited to providing the analytics dashboard, AI-powered content generation, and related personalization features for your own account.

4. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

Generate AI-powered scripts, titles, and content suggestions based on your inputs and your YouTube channel metadata.
Display simplified performance reports and insights in your Flervo dashboard.
Provide audience-specific content suggestions based on your channel's performance and demographics.

5. Data Protection Mechanisms

To comply with Google's sensitive data protection requirements, we have implemented the following technical security controls to safeguard user data:

Advanced Token Encryption: All sensitive Google OAuth credentials, including Refresh Tokens, are stored in our secure backend systems using AES-256 encryption at rest. These tokens are only decrypted when strictly necessary to perform authorized API requests and are never stored in a plain-text or human-readable format.
Encryption in Transit: All data exchanged between your device, our servers, and Google's API endpoints is protected using Transport Layer Security (TLS/SSL) to ensure that data cannot be intercepted or modified during transit.
Administrative Controls: Access to decryption keys and stored sensitive data is strictly limited to minimum-privileged backend processes and is not accessible to unauthorized personnel or third-party entities.

6. Retention and Deletion

We retain your YouTube data only for as long as your Flervo account remains connected. You can revoke Flervo's access at any time via the Google Security Settings page. and you can also disconnect your YouTube channel or Google account from within Flervo's account settings. When you disconnect, we delete the stored tokens and channel connection for that account from our database immediately.
